I'm pinning this to the TNA section of the boards because I know that's where it will get the most visibility, so here goes. I've gotten a couple of PMs here about the whole BWF/WWI "feud," and I wanted to clear the air about that.

There isn't a "war" or "feud" going on between us and WorldWrestlingInsanity.com. Yes, they've pretty much banned us from even mentioning our site on their forums. Yes, I've referred to them numerous times since then as "that other wrestling site." Yes, Drow was unceremoniously let go from her writing position over there due to circumstances beyond her control. At no point, however, have I declared war on them, banned references to them, or had any negative things to say about James Guttman, RD Lee, or even Aaron Wood unless it was in jest.

Their handling of Drow's departure from the site aside, I still respect JG. If it weren't for James Guttman and World Wrestling Insanity, you guys wouldn't be sitting here reading this post right now because I likely would not have been inspired to create Bored Wrestling Fan. This site wasn't created to take readers from them or "go to war" with them, it was created in homage to their site. In fact, there's still a link to them in the footer of BWF's main page.

So yes, I will continue to refer to them as "that other wrestling site," and they'll probably continue denying our existence, but as far as I'm concerned, it's all just a friendly rivalry between the two sites, and no more than that. BWF trying to go to war with WWI would be like TNA trying to move to Mondays to start a war with WWE. Oh wait.

If I plant myself firmly on the fence on this one, that will be good.

Just one thing though, I understand why the WWI didnt like us giving this place cheap pops over there. it'd be like WWE giving TNA cheap pops every week. You don't want others going to another site or another place, when you want them to stay. So, when it comes to that part, I understand why they'd do that.

Personally, i think we shouldn't worry about them. At all. Don't mention them. I know the majority of us came from there, and I can speak for myself in the fact that they have given me opportunities to voice my opinion without being hounded for my views.

I believe, that everyone, regardless of past happenings, should be able to enjoy both sites. I know we can't compete with their numbers, but we need to offer an alternative to them. Give readers something else to read, besides the same as everything else. Do we really want to become TNA, and have the same old guys, talk the same old crap each week, and think we can compete with the big dogs, even though we can't? No. Please, let's just be different, and don't mention anyone else. They're not paying for the publicity.

Wow, there's more going on than I was aware of. I'm not going over there posting anything at all. It's a shame other sites can't be mentioned at the other site.... it just sucks what happened with DG and how it went down. I agree in many ways, I wouldn't have starting ranting about the wrasslin' if it were not for P2P.

Ideally we'd be shilling each other, not shitting on each other. Where did the "community" go in IWC?

The deal I made with my boys at Project Wonderboy was that since I'm watching this stuff anyways, I'll do it for shits and giggles. And I told them I'd be doing it my way, basically a retarded review of the show.

Y'all here each bring your own shtick to the table and I dig it. Happy to be here. That's one of the reasons I've been harassing everyone to collaborate and whatnot with our crew. I am pretty sure we share the same philosophy (or close too it) in that regard.

At the same time, I understand the anger towards the silliness that went down. Like LegendKiller said, let that shit slide and let's roll with our crew, right? Sort of like ROH?

I know it's old but I just now read it.

I won't deny your existence. I can say truthfully that I enjoy both BWF or WWI for different reasons. We all love wrestling and I believe we should support each other's passion and hard work regardless of whether it's posted here, there or anywhere.

After all, I believe that "the more, the merrier" when it comes to wrestling related content, so "keep on keeping on" BWF!
